Global Gala is an annual celebration of the various cultures present on the Iowa State University Campus. This platform allows several student organizations to showcase their cultural heritage through dance, music and fashion, in an effort to promote diversity and celebrate all cultures! This event is FREE and light refreshments, including food from different cultures, will be served so attendees can enjoy delicious food while watching the performances!

Stop by the Workspace booth for Adinkra stamping, an art-form from Ghana. The symbols in Adinkra each have a special meaning from unity and strength to faith and initiative. Tell your story by repeating or combining stamped symbols on fabric and leave with a personalized wall hanging.

In the past we have had several student organizations perform, including ISU Bhangra, Celtic Dance, Motion Sickness, and Bollywood Dance. Below is a clip from the the 2014 Global Gala with a performance by ISU Bhangra.
