Katchafire
Katchafire are an all Maori reggae band from Hamilton, New Zealand, who have achieved phenomenal success over the past two decades.
Formed in the 1990s as a tribute to Bob Marley, Katchafire have since featured at some of the mostly highly regarded reggae festivals in the world. Their most recent album On The Road Again achieved platinum status in New Zealand after just five weeks of release this year. It then went on to gold sales. The album has been nominated for Best Roots Album at this week’s Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards.
